For this project, I was tasked with designing a history-based poster, then augmenting it using the AR tool Hoverlay. This augmentation could involve interactive 2D or 3D photos, audio, video, and more. I chose to design a poster on the history of pinback buttons, inspired by an AIGA Eye on Design article on this topic. The primary poster gives an overview of the history and context, then the augmented version allows the viewer to dive deeper into specific categories of buttons. Each category also contains an audio clip relating to notable buttons within that category, such as a live Beatles performance for the music buttons.
