As the Director of Design and Marketing for the student organization Time for Change (T4C), I was tasked with creating nearly all marketing materials for our week of events. T4C Week is a collaboration between student organizations, university departments and offices, and Columbus community partners to create a week of educational programming and recreational events focused on increasing environmental awareness and community engagement among the Ohio State community.
I chose to focus on creating unique merch to draw people to our event, as well as bright, engaging social media posts to help inform students about our programming.
My primary task was to create a series of symbols for the events, which were applied to a tote bag, buttons, and social media posts. The goal of this campaign was to encourage people to pick up a tote bag at an event, then collect as many unique buttons as possible throughout the sixteen events. These also coordinated with our daily event reminder social media posts to ensure consistency and recognizability.
Due to budget constraints, I screen printed over 325 tote bags to hand out as freebies at our events. Although I had never screen printed before this, it was a fun challenge and I'm extremely satisfied with the results!

I was also the primary organizer of Bloom, our sustainable art and design exhibition. I was in charge of gathering work submissions, promoting this opportunity and the eventual main event, and coordinating with relevant departments and organizations to promote the event. With 23 pieces submitted and over 40 attendees, I am proud of how the event turned out and how we were able to demonstrate the connection between creative work and sustainability!

Finally, I created multiple calendars and Instagram carousels for the events, as social media was our main way of promoting T4C Week. Below are our primary event calendar, summary of giveaways, and the official calendar (following OSU branding guidelines) for our website and other school-affiliated channels.
